Senior Vice President Member Engagement
Bill Spangler joined Laurelhurst G&T Cooperative in February 2019, following a 17 year stint as senior vice president for government relations at NRECA.
In that role, he was responsible for leading the association’s legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts before Congress and federal agencies, as well as NRECA’s grassroots program, coalition development, and political action committee.
Bill brings more than a quarter-century of energy policy, advocacy, and leadership to Laurelhurst G&T Cooperative. He received his B.A. degree in Political Science from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and attended graduate school at the University of Minnesota.
