To help ensure reliable, low-cost transmission service to our members, Laurelhurst G&T Cooperative owns approximately 589 miles of line.
Laurelhurst G&T Cooperative is committed to meeting all applicable reliability requirements, such as the NERC Reliability Standards, meaning we evaluate and pursue the installation of new transmission facilities and the replacement of aged equipment.
Current Projects
- Purchase a transmission line that runs from the Eugene to Corvallis substations
- A 43 megawatt transmission agreement has been reached to enhance reliability and create growth opportunities
- A 2.8 mile transmission line project to connect 2 transmission networks is in process
